Chris just caught a big break in his Washington, D.C. assault case. When he appeared before the judge today his charge of felony assault was reduced to a misdemeanor, according to TMZ
The singer was released without bail. He was ordered to stay 100 yards away from the victim, who reportedly has a fractured nasal bones after being punched in the face by Chris.
Brown’s bodyguard, Chris Hollosy, allegedly punched the victim once Chris was finished. His charge was also reduced to a misdemeanor.
In Chris’ statement to police he said the incident started when the victim and another man tried to board the singer’s tour bus and his bodyguard handled it.
