Campus Heat did a research on the Fast-Rising artistes that would/should be making waves in the music industry next year [2013].

We Came Up With Some Names …What Do You Think?

Kay Switch in 2012 had a couple successful releases and since then has shown no signs of stopping any time soon.

He dropped the club banger Sista Caro around mid-year; followed up with infectious Oluwa Is Involved single and most recently featured on the banger Cash Flow by D’Banj.

He’s definitely one act to watch out for.

– Burna Boy

They Call Him Burna! Boy ..

Aristokrat Records artiste Burna Boy is one artiste that’s definitely going to be making headlines next year.

Following the release of his viral Like To Party single; the singer has since then been on basically everyone’s mouths & playlists.

In no time, he followed up with another dope single titled Tonight which so far has gotten positive reviews from several music heads around.

Shaydee!

One of the New acts that recently got signed to one of Nigeria’s Leading Music Labels ..Empire Mates Entertainment is definitely an act to watch closely as far as good music production is concerned.

His Sun Mo Mi jam released off the label’s recent compilation Empire State of Mind became an instant hit.

Storm Records music group L.O.S is another act to watch in 2013.

Their recently released Bad Guy P video has been argued to be one of the very best videos to ever come out of the Nigerian Music Industry.

This year (2012); they had several songs topping charts across the federation ..jams like: On Fire , Pamparampe, Mike Jackson & many more.

UK Based Nigerian Music acts DRB LasGidi in 2012 had their Toyin single getting massive airplay on radio stations across the federation.

Towards the end of the year, they dropped another tight jam featuring Shank – was titled Selecta.

His viral Too Much Serenre jam made its way into everyone’s playlist in 2012.

After being rumoured to be a one hit wonder, the UK Based act followed up with a badddd jam titled Omo Pastor.

Yemi Alade

Since she won the 2009 Peak Talent Show contest, the talented & gorgeous singer Yemi Alade has been putting in work.

Recently she dropped the video for her Gehn Gehn Love single & also put out a new jam Uche Face featuring Storm Records music group L.O.S.

She’s definitely an act to be watched closely in 2013.

Kennis Music‘s Hot, Sexy & Talented act Minjin earlier this year delivered a superb! chorus on Gbon Gbon!

A Jam by Kako Bi Chicken hit-maker Reminisce & Ruggedman off Reminisce‘s debut album Book of Rap Stories.

He also recently dropped the remix to his Coupe Decale single featuring one of Nigeria’s biggest music acts Iyanya.

Minjin‘s definitely bringing the HEAT in 2013.

HBK‘s Basky is another act to watch out for in 2013.

The talented rapper has been releasing some sick singles which have getting some massive airplay around thee country recently.

He also went in Ice Prince‘s Aboki instrumental – A freestyle that has gotten lots of positive reviews since the very night it hit the internet.

His long awaited High Definition mix-tape drops early next year. Hits off the mix-tape include: Disco Pemperenpe, Gentle Man e.t.c

A.N.I‘s Fast-Rising & Talented Rapper/Singer Ink Edwards earlier this year featured on a jam by Kennis Music‘s Essence titled Orin.

The University of Lagos undergraduate rap act has since then been putting in work; Recently, he dropped 2 mad new singlesFeeling Your P & You’re The Best.

Both jams since their release have been getting mad airplay & positive reviews on many blogs and radio stations.

He’s definitely going to be making the headlines next year.

Trybe Records affiliate Jammal is an act that has shown a lot of promise with his previous releases: Here I Stand & Touchdown.

With the right management & production, Jammal should be making the headlines next year.
