Several Kenyan politicians today joined Former Kenyan Youth and Sports Assistant Minister Wayinya Ndeti in bidding farewell to Dolamu Henry Oduwole, her Nigerian husband who recently passed away.

Oduwole died at the Nairobi Hospital on Sunday, September 25 and was buried today Friday October 14 at the family’s Kinane farm in Mavoko Constituency.

The politician’s husband died while in he ICU at around 1.30 am after his blood pressure shot up to unmanageable levels.

Oduwole had been in various hospitals on several occasions since March this year and had been treated at Mater Hospital and Nairobi Hospital and in another facility in London before he passed on.

Former Kenyan Youth and Sports Assistant Minister, Wavinya Ndeti is mourning the death of her husband Dolamu Henry Oduwole.

Oduwole was a certified accountant and a big businessman from a royal family in Nigeria.

He met Ndeti in the early 1990s in the UK where they were both pursuing higher education.

The CCU party leader who also served as Kathiani MP, announced on her social media that her husband died on Sunday morning, September 25th. at a Nairobi hospital where was rushed after his blood pressure shot up drastically. he had been in and out of hospital for a while.

”I am deeply saddened to announce the demise of my beloved husband who passed on early this (Sunday) morning,” she wrote on her Twitter and Facebook accounts.

“He fought a good fight and as a family we pray that God will grant us strength to endure this devastating loss.

God to grant my families in Kenya and Nigeria, our friends, partners and the people of Machakos a comforting hand during this trying time. Rest well my darling till we meet again. Godspeed”
